From Lisa Edwards, Steve's sister:
Steve, there is not a day that goes by that you are not in our thoughts, I miss you loads and the girls do too. You now have a little Nephew called Ryan who will be 2 in June, his middle name is after you. He loves playing football and I only wish you were here to play with him.
We have all changed so much the past 5 years, the girls especially, Lauren is a young lady now and is doing her GCSE's, you would be so proud of her, and Ellen well she is still Ellen, she loves her dancing and she is working hard at school, they both talk about you alot and miss you. If I had a wish it would be for you to be back home with us all. Please can someone make this wish come true.
Love you always Lisa xxxx

From Chris Cook, Steve's eldest brother:
Stevie, never in my life did I think I'd spend a day without chatting to you, talking football on MSN, or exchanging texts about the latest footy news. You are more than a little brother. You're my best mate. Every day I think about you and pray for the day you'll come home.
People often say that they don't know how we cope, but at least we have friends and family here to pull us up whenever we feel down. Wherever you are I hope that you are not alone, not scared, and not worrying for us. Keep strong mate, all it takes is just one person to come forward, to take the opportunity of perhaps seeing someone they think might be you, and going to approach them. Wherever you are, you don't walk alone.
We were lucky to be there that night in Istanbul, the best night of our lives, to see first hand that if you believe and stay strong then you'll miracles can happen. We believe mate, we believe.
All my love
Chris
P.S - The Oakfield has closed down now but you have a hell of a round owing when you come home :-)

From Tony Cook - Steve's brother.
Steve, there is not one day that I don't think of you and constantly try to find ways of how we might get the information that creates that spark that leads us on a trail to find you and get you home with us where you belong.
Little brother we miss you so much and I promise that we will never give up on our search to find you. Myself Lisa and Josh will always be here for you, and we all miss you so very much.
We hope for your return home to your family where you belong.
We will love you always, Tony.

From Pat and Norman - Steve's mum and dad

We have a belief that you are out there somewhere and that one day you will be reunited with us,until that day comes we promise you that we will do whatever we can to get you back home with us.
