Steven's dad, Norman, has been asked to contribute towards a book recounting the experiences of family members as they come to terms with having a loved one missing.

The book, which is understood to be the first of its kind, dealing exclusively with missing persons cases, takes a look at the psychological effect on families from the intial days and hours when their loved one is reported missing through to the longer term impacts, across a variety of outcomes.

Although it's obviously been difficult to revisit the experiences and emotional lows over the past five years Norman hopes that by sharing his experience he can give hope and positivity to those unfortunately finding themselves having to deal with the horror of having a family member or friend missing.

Furthermore, he also hopes that such projects continue to raise awareness and public support of not just Steven's case but for all missing persons.
